With the help of his sister’s newly broken family, he’s ready to show Weber that the home the man’s been searching for has always been right there, with him. Now Cyrus has one last chance to prove to Weber that it’s not Weber’s job that makes him Cyrus’s perfect man, it’s Weber himself. But watching Weber walk out on him keeps getting harder, and he’s not sure how much more his heart can take. He spotted the prince in a broken-down bull rider’s clothing from day one. Or at least in San Francisco, where Weber stops to see him one last time before settling down to the humble, lonely life he figures a frog like him has coming.Ĭyrus Benning is a successful neurosurgeon, so details are never lost on him. Weber Yates’s dreams of stardom are about to be reduced to a ranch hand’s job in Texas, and his one relationship is with a guy so far out of his league he might as well be on the moon. Why this book? I liked the cover art and the idea of a modern day cowboy hero. ![]() Publisher: Dreamspinner (against my better judgment) Title: Frog (a tired prince/frog allusion) ![]() ![]() Working with a roster of incredible artistic storytellers like Esad Ribic, Jerome Opena, and Dale Eaglesham (among many others), the Marvel Hickman-verse is wonderfully plotted and thematically connected from the Dark Reign era Secret Warriors through 2015’s mega-event Secret Wars. Without question, the writing and vision of Jonathan Hickman across the Marvel Universe is my favorite modern run in superhero comics. ![]() ![]() ![]() In this deliciously strange debut collection, Leon Craig draws on folklore and gothic horror in refreshingly inventive ways to explore queer identity, love, power and the complicated nature of being human. ![]() Livia orchestrates a Satanic mass to distract herself from a recently remembered trauma and two lovers must resolve their differences in order to defy a lethal curse. Our hero and heroine in this edition of the de Piaget series have a prior history and don’t really get along all that well. Even when you’re so behind in reading the series and it’s nearly a year after the book’s release. She makes you feel good, gives you love and romance, along with a bit of action, and you always sigh when that last page is read. Her writing quality is difficult to surpass and not many authors do. Fans around the world are drawn to Her Grace's voice, her wit, her life-affirming love for all humanity, and the fun and friendship of the community that's sprung up around her. Becoming Duchess Goldblatt is two stories: that of the reclusive real-life writer who created a fictional character out of loneliness and thin air, and that of the magical Duchess Goldblatt herself, a bright light in the darkness of social media.
